What if I told you I had $1,440 in my pocket right now, and that I wanted to give you all of it?
In fact, what if I wanted to give you $1,440 every day for the rest of your life, what would you say?
You’d take it, right?
Well, what if I said I’d do it under one condition?
All you have to do is take $20 and spend it on me. Would you still do it? You could have all $1,440, but you had to spend $20 on me.
So say one day you buy me a sweater, and you’re thinking, “Cool! I can get used to this!” Maybe another day you are feeling generous, and you want to spend $25! Or $50! Or Once in a while, $400!
You’d do it because you were given so much more. Well, what about If God gave you everything you had?
Every day God gives us 1,440 minutes. He gives us the air we breathe, the ability to laugh, the ability to enjoy his creation – for 1,440 minutes per day. How many of those minutes do you give back to God spending time in his word?
Think about it. Doesn’t the Almighty God who made you deserve at least 20 minutes of your day? Can you give him just 20 out of the 1,440 he gives you?
Proverbs 3:9-10
“Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest; then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”
Be encouraged today because God is with you.
