    Frustrated

Frustration is a common emotional response to opposition, related to anger, annoyance, and disappointment. Frustration arises from the perceived resistance to the fulfillment of an individual’s will or goal and is likely to increase when a will or goal is denied or blocked.

    How to handle Frustration?
Pray to God – Lord, I ask for your help in handling my anger in a way that honors you. Give me wisdom and strength to control my emotions and to speak words of love and kindness, even when I am feeling upset or frustrated. Help me to extend grace to those who may have hurt or offended me, just as you have extended grace to me.

In Job 21:1-16, Job argues against his friends’ idea that the wicked always suffer on Earth, pointing out that the wicked often prosper, live long, have healthy families, and enjoy life’s pleasures, sometimes even scoffing at God, while the righteous (like himself) suffer, challenging the friends’ simplistic view of divine justice. He tells them to listen to his experience, noting that wicked people flourish and die peacefully, their prosperity seemingly untouched by God’s immediate wrath, unlike what his friends claim, showing that suffering isn’t a clear sign of wickedness.

In Job 36:1-26, Elihu illustrates that God uses suffering as a disciplinary tool, not merely punishment for the wicked, to teach and purify the righteous. He emphasises God’s infinite greatness, wisdom, and power, far beyond human comprehension, and urges Job to submit to God’s incomprehensible ways rather than challenge His justice. He also highlights how God controls nature (clouds, thunder) to reveal His majesty and teach lessons of humility and awe.

According to James 1:19-20 “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires”.

Matthew 7:13-14 describes Jesus’ parable of two gates and two paths: the wide gate and broad road. You can enter true life only through the narrow gate. The gate to hell is very wide, and there is plenty of room on the road that leads there. Many people go that way. But the gate that opens the way to true life is narrow. And the road leads there is hard to follow. Only a few people find it.

  • Seeking God’s Strength

    Seeking God’s Strength

Whether facing an ordinary task or a particularly heavy burden, you probably ask God often for the strength to accomplish what He has called you to do. We can ask God for strength because He is the source of all strength and power, and He promises to give strength to His people.

    How to Seek God’s Strength?
We can seek God in prayer, asking him to strengthen us when we are weak, needy, or afraid. Talking to God regularly during good times can improve our confidence in approaching him during difficult times.

Psalm 46 is a hymn about God’s power as a refuge and strength in times of chaos and upheaval. God is our protection and source of strength. He is always ready to help us in times of trouble. So we are not afraid when the earth quakes and the mountains fall into the sea. We are not afraid when the seas become rough and dark and the mountains tremble. There is a river whose streams bring happiness to God’s city, to the holy city of God Most High. God is in that city, so it will never be destroyed. He is there to help even before sunrise. Nations will shake with fear and kingdoms will fall when God shouts and makes the earth move. The Lord All-Powerful is with us. The God of Jacob* is our place of safety. Look at the powerful things the Lord has done. See the awesome things he has done on earth. He stops wars all over the world. He breaks the soldiers’ bows, shatters their spears, and burns their shields. God says, “Stop fighting and know that I am God! I am the one who defeats the nations; I am the one who controls the world.” The Lord All-Powerful is with us. The God of Jacob is our place of safety.

Ephesians 6:10-20 says we should be strong in the Lord and in His great power. Wear the full armor of God. Wear God’s armor so that you can fight against the devil’s clever tricks. Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and the authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places. That is why you need to get God’s full armor. Then on the day of evil you will be able to stand strong. And when you have finished the whole fight, you will still be standing. So stand strong with the belt of truth tied around your waist, and on your chest wear the protection of right living. On your feet wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong. And also use the shield of faith with which you can stop all the burning arrows that come from Evil One. Accept God’s salvation as your helmet. And take the sword out of the spirit that sword is the teaching of God. Pray in the spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up. Always pray for all of God’s people. And pray for me that when I speak God will give me words so that I call tell the secret truth about the Good News without fear. I have the work of speaking for that Good News, and that is what I am doing now, here in prison. Pray that when I tell people the Good News, I will speak without fear as I should.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father will provide us with comfort and strength in all good things we do and say, as mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17. God loved us and gave us, through his grace, a wonderful hope and comfort that has no end.

  • Worrying About Future

    Worrying About Future

Worrying about the future stems from a lack of trust in God’s provision and sovereignty, encouraging us to trust Him instead of being consumed by anxiety, as Jesus instructed in Matthew 6:34 (“Do not worry about tomorrow”).

Philippians 4:6-7 says not to be anxious but to present all requests to God with prayer, petition, and thanksgiving, resulting in the peace of God guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, a peace that surpasses understanding.

Through his great mercy, God has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:3-5). This hope leads to an imperishable inheritance in heaven, and God guards believers through faith until the final salvation is revealed.

Revelation 21:1-8, describes the vision of a new heaven and a new earth where God will dwell with humanity, eliminating all suffering, death, mourning, crying, and pain. It details the descent of the New Jerusalem from Heaven, prepared by God” as a bride adorned for her husband”. Those who “overcome” will inherit these new things and be God’s children, while those who are faithless, murderers, and liars will face the second death” in the lake of fire.

  • Worrying About Money

    Worrying About Money

Do not let money define your identity or happiness, trusting that God will provide for your needs, and being a wise steward of what you have. “Doesn’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need” (Philippians 4:6) and “leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

    Ecclesiastes 5:10-20, tells us
Those who love money will never be satisfied with the money they have. Those who love wealth will not be satisfied when they get more and more. This is also senseless. The more wealth people have, the more “friends” they have to help spend it. So the rich really gain nothing. They can only look at their wealth. Those who work hard all day come home and sleep in peace. It is not important if they have little or much to eat. But the rich worry about their wealth and are not able to sleep. There is a very sad thing that I have seen happen in this life. People save their money for the future. Then something bad happens and they lose everything. So they have nothing to give to their children. People come into the world with nothing. And when they die, they leave with nothing. They might work hard to get things, but they cannot take anything with them when they die. It is very sad that people leave the world just as they came. So what does a person gain from “trying to catch the wind”? They only get days that are filled with sadness and sorrow. In the end, they are troubled, sick and angry.

    Matthew 6:24-34, teaches
You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one and love the other, or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other. You cannot serve God and Money at the same time. So I tell you, don’t worry about the things you need to live-what you will eat, drink, or wear. Life is more important than food, and the body is more important than what you put on it. Look at the birds. They don’t plant, harvest, or save food in barns, but your heavenly father feeds him. Don’t you know you are worth much more than they are? You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it. And why do you worry about clothes? Look at the wildflowers in the field. See how they grow. They don’t work or make clothes for themselves. But I tell you that even Solomon, the great and rich king, was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think he will do for you? It’s just grass-one day it’s alive, and the next day someone throws it into a fire. But God cares enough to make it beautiful. Surely he will do much more for you. Your faith is so small! Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat? Or ‘What will we drink? Or ‘What we will wear? That’s what those people who don’t know about God are always thinking about. Don’t worry because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. What you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what he wants you to do. Then he will give you all these other things you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries.
