In John 2:1-11, we study
Jesus first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana, Galilee is a sign that highlights a demonstration of his divine nature and the beginning of his public ministry. The miracle serves to manifest Jesus’ glory, leading his disciples to believe in him.
The miracle is not just a practical solution to a problem, but a symbolic demonstration of Jesus’ divine power and his ability to provide abundance.
While applying it in real life first we should believe that nothing is impossible with God such as when Jesus turned the water into wine. Second is that we should follow all the command of Jesus like what His disciples did when His mother asked the disciples to follow what He will command.
God cares about all of our lives. If it matters to you, it matters to Jesus. The water into wine sign is a sign of how God acts. God is the God of abundance and will give you what you need.
