Sometimes, we question whether we are on the right path in life. We ponder, Is this what God intends for me? Am I being guided in this direction, or is it purely my selfish desire?

We ask these questions about our relationships, our careers, or where we live. We ask them about our mundane, daily activities.

The best guidance comes from connecting with God, but we often rely on intuition.

“Remember this for today to have direction in life, for it’s essential to connect with the One! who knows us and has given us unique gifts to build His kingdom. Prioritize building a strong relationship with God. This relationship will give us the confidence to move forward in this direction.”

“If you and I do not have a connection, we will always experience misdirection.”The enemy is the best at convincing us to do the right thing even when we aren’t. He tempts us into making selfish decisions, unethical business choices or pursuing an unhealthy relationship. He has been misdirecting people and continues to prey on unsuspecting people.

How do you avoid misdirection from the evil one? Connect with God. How can you be confident that you’re not listening to your instinct? Connect with God.

The book of James says that when we draw near to God, He draws near to us. He also says that when you and I ask God for wisdom, He generously gives it away. Because I believe the Bible is trustworthy and what God says is true, I firmly believe that! He wants you to ask Him for guidance. So, today, if you find yourself in a place where you need more purpose, spend a moment reconnecting with God by praying these words:

“Dear Father, I apologize for pursuing my dreams without consulting you first. Please guide me towards the path you have chosen for me.”

I am confident He will clear a path in front of you.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
