The miracles of Jesus are proposed miraculous deeds attributed to Jesus. The majority are faith healings, exorcisms, resurrection, and control over nature. Jesus refuses to give a miraculous sign to prove his authority. In the Gospel of John, Jesus is said to have performed seven miraculous signs that characterize his ministry, from changing water into wine at the start of his ministry to raising Lazarus from the dead at the end.
Understanding the miracles of Jesus can change your life, and it all begins with believing through faith.
Having faith in our Lord Christ Jesus is the only way to see miracles because those times most of the people who heard about him believed that by SEEKING, ASKING, KNOCKING it was given to them.
JESUS TURNS WATER INTO WINE
John 2:1-11
The transformation of water into wine at the Marriage at Cana or Wedding at Cana is the first miracle attributed to Jesus in the Gospel of John. In the Gospel account, Jesus, his mother, and his disciples are invited to a wedding, and when the wine runs out, Jesus delivers a sign of his divinity by turning water into wine.
JESUS FEEDS MANY PEOPLE

Jesus thought that feeding the crowd was a better idea and sent the disciples to find food. Breaking the loaves into pieces, He kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples to disperse to the hungry crowd. Not only did everyone eat abundantly, but the disciples picked up 12 baskets of leftover bread and fish.
This miracle provides so many lessons for Christians. First, God was demonstrating that He can exceed our expectations and sufficiently provide for our needs. This miracle is a reminder that nothing we face here on earth is too big for God. Also, notice how Jesus chose to use the food from the young boy to feed 5,000 people. The boy willingly shared the little food he had. This demonstrates that our possessions and abilities are never too small to serve God.
No matter what we face, we serve a big God. We must trust that God will provide for our needs.
JESUS CALMS A STORM

The story of Jesus calming the storms shows us God is with us even when we do not realize it. Jesus is in control. He is with us in the storms. The Father is with you and will keep you anchored until this storm passes. “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
THE GREAT CATCH OF FISH
Luke 5:1-11
According to the Gospel of Luke, on the day of this miracle, Jesus was preaching near the Lake of Genesareth (Sea of Galilee), when he saw two boats at the water’s edge. Boarding the one belonging to Simon (Peter), and moving out a little from the shore, he sat and taught the people from the boat. Afterward, he said to Peter: Put out into deep water and let down the nets for a catch. Peter answered: Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets. When they had done so, “they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break,” requiring help from another boat. When Peter saw the large catch, which filled both boats almost to the sinking point, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” Jesus responded “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men,” after which Peter and his partners James and John left everything and followed Jesus.
JESUS WALKS ON WATER

Jesus walking on the water, or on the sea, is depicted as one of the miracles of Jesus recounted in the New Testament. There are accounts of this event in three Gospels—Matthew, Mark, and John. This story, following the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand, tells how Jesus sent the disciples by ship back to the “other side” of the Sea of Galilee while he remained behind, alone, to pray. Night fell and the sea arose as the ship became caught in a wind storm. After rowing against the wind for most of the night, the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water. They were frightened, thinking that they were seeing a spirit, but when Jesus told them not to be afraid, they were reassured. After Jesus entered the ship, the wind ceased, and they arrived at land.
After Peter came down out of the ship and walked on the water, he became afraid of the storm and began to sink. … Jesus caught him and reproved him for his lack of faith, and led him back to the ship, whereupon the storm stopped. Matthew also notes that the disciples called Jesus the Son of God
JESUS HEALS PEOPLE WITH SKIN DISEASES

This miracle teaches Christians that God is concerned about them and will reach out and touch them in times of need. It also reminds Christians that they themselves should be willing to reach out and care for all of those who are shunned by society or are outcasts today.

The qualities of Demons are Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.
According to Luke, after Jesus cast out seven demons from her, Mary became part of a group of women who traveled with him and his 12 disciples/apostles, “proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.
Jesus facing demons is a testimony to the sovereignty of Christ over the forces of evil. Even the demons know that Christ has the power.
JESUS HEALS THE BLIND
Matthew 9: 27-31, Matthew 20:29-34, Mark 10:46-52, Luke 18:35-43
Jesus adjusted his method of healing to the personal needs of quite different people. He is willing to make closed eyes half-open before making them fully open. When Jesus healed the man born blind, he spat on the ground and made a kind of clay that he put on the blind man’s eyes. … Jesus opposed this judgmental attitude that assigned physical ailments to specific sins. Jesus said that neither the blind man nor his parents had sinned. He is willing to accommodate the pace of healing, or other gift-giving, to our weak ability to trust.
JESUS HEALS A DEAF MAN
Mark 7:31-37
We must spiritually heal so that we can understand God’s Word in our lives. This miracle also demonstrates that we need to show compassion for people needing help, like those who brought the deaf, mute man to Christ for healing. We need to bring people to Jesus through our actions and compassion.
JESUS HEALS THE PARALYZED AND CRIPPLED

Jesus healed a person because of the faith of others and their actions in cutting a hole in the roof and lowering him down. Jesus said to the man, “Courage my son, your sins are forgiven.” In Jesus’ time, people thought that sickness or disability was a punishment from God for committing sin.
JESUS HEALS MANY WOMEN

A woman heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him.
“A gracious woman gets honor, and violent men get riches.” The Good News: Any woman who is compassionate in her life has the understanding of faith, the message of forgiveness, will be rewarded in heaven, while those who act in anger will be punished.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
JESUS HEALS THE CENTURION’S SERVANT
Matthew 8:5-13, Mark 7:1-10
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof.
Because of the centurion’s faith, we see Jesus marvel, and we remember that the only other time Jesus was amazed in the Bible was when He saw the lack of faith in his hometown. A Roman centurion, who wasn’t even an Israelite, had more faith than the people who grew up with Jesus and saw Him live a perfect life.
JESUS HEALS PETER’S MOTHER-IN-LAW
Matthew 8:14-15, Mark 1:29-31, Luke 4:38-39
Another miracle of Jesus was the healing of Simon Peter’s mother-in-law and was recorded in several of the Gospels. Simon Peter’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So He bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her.
JESUS HEALS AN OFFICIAL’S SON
John 4:46-54
During His ministry, Jesus performed many miracles including healing the sick, changing the natural elements of nature, and even raising people from the dead.
When the Official heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he made the journey of more than 20 miles on foot. When he reached Jesus, the official addressed him as “Sir,” and begged for Jesus to come back with him to heal his son who was close to death. Even though the man had legal authority, he was submitting to Jesus.
Jesus responded, “Unless you see miraculous signs and wonders, you will never believe.”
The officer believed Jesus could heal his son and persisted in faith. Jesus recognized the man’s belief and responded, “You may go. Your son will live.” The man obeyed and returned to his son, believing that Jesus needed only to speak the words that his son would live. As the man traveled back to Capernaum, some of his servants were running to meet him to bring the good news that his son had been healed. The man realized that his son had been healed at the exact moment that Jesus had said, “Your son lives.” Because of this miracle, the man’s entire household became believers.
JESUS REVIVES AN OFFICIAL’S DAUGHTER

Jesus was on his way to Jairus’ house when he was interrupted by a woman who touched his cloak to cure her bleeding. Jesus heals by touch when he takes the little girl by the hand. He says get up.
Lessons Christians learn from the raising of Jairus’Daughter. Jesus gives life and power over death, there is life after death and death is a temporary sleep.
God answers the requests of Christians should turn to God for their needs. God visits his people in their places and He is available.
JESUS RAISES THE DEAD
Luke 7:11-17, John 11:1-44
Jesus said to the dead man, “Young man, I say to thee, arise!” And he who was dead sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. Then they all were filled with awe and praised God. And they said, “A great prophet has risen among us”, and “God has visited His people”.
Jesus loved Lazarus and his sisters and that when Lazarus died of illness, Jesus wept and was “greatly disturbed.” Although Lazarus had been entombed for four days by the time Jesus arrived at Bethany, he was raised by Jesus from the dead and emerged from the tomb wearing his burial cloths.
Jesus statement — “I am the resurrection and the life” — along with his power to raise Lazarus from the dead teach us that everything the Bible has to say about heaven, hell, and the promise of eternal life is wrapped up in the person of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
